1 Senior Software Engineer- Oracle Supply Chain Planning Applications
Duties/Responsibilities

• Review client business issues, gather requirements, and prepare Technical and Functional Requirements Documents
• Perform application map and gap analysis and review the need for technical Reporting, Interfaces, Conversions and Extensions (RICE) need.
• Analyze business and functional requirements and evaluate options for delivering requirements using Oracle functionality
• Identify business and functional requirements which require development
• Design the solutions (RICE objects) and assist in the development of technical programming specifications
• Unit test the technical programs and help technical teams with fixing program bugs
• Work with business users to support new processes and resolve issues with existing systems
• Mentor and lead collaborative requirements gathering efforts, setup execution, and application test activities
• Work under the guidelines of the managers and lead the technical design efforts
• Work directly with technical staff, software vendors, and solution providers as needed
• Act as an advocate for the business community within the IT infrastructure
• Participate in functional testing of Oracle Supply Chain Applications
• Act as Technical/Function Software Lead for small-scale change requests categorized as maintenance activities
• Prepare Oracle setup documentation for functional setups for Supply Chain Applications

Required Background/Experience
5+ years experience as a functional analyst with ALL the following Oracle 11i Supply Chain Applications modules

• Inventory
• Bill of Materials
• Work in Process / Shop Floor Management
• Oracle Supply Chain Planning Modules :
  • Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning
  • Oracle Demand Planning
  • Oracle Collaborative Planning
  • Global Order Promising
  • Hands-on experience with at least 2 full implementations of Oracle Supply Chain Planning
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle AIM methodology for technical and functional deployments

Major Pluses to have

• APICS certification
• Oracle Manufacturing Certification
